Full job description

Overview
We are seeking an experienced detail-oriented Residential Conveyancer to join our team in the Lenzie office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the legal aspects of residential property transactions, ensuring a smooth process from start to finish. This role requires excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of property law, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Manage the conveyancing process for residential property transactions, including sales and purchases.
Prepare and review legal documents such as contracts, transfer deeds, and mortgage agreements.
Communicate effectively with clients, estate agents, and other stakeholders to provide updates and gather necessary information.
Conduct property searches and due diligence to identify any issues that may affect the transaction.
Liaise with financial institutions to ensure timely processing of mortgage applications and funds transfer.
Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the conveyancing process using IT systems.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client queries and concerns promptly.

Experience
The successful candidate will possess:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to liaise with clients and colleagues clearly.
Minimum three years conveyancing experience is required.
