Job Title: Internal Sales Executive
Reports to: Sales Office Manager
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 basic per annum, plus uncapped bonus potential
Hours: 39 hours per week Monday – Friday

Job Purpose: To cover an area working collaboratively with the Area Sales Manager to approach potential customers with the aim of winning new business. The Sales Executive works to maintain good relationships with existing customers and gain repeat business wherever possible.
Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the sales pipeline from enquiry through to conversion, ensuring all opportunities are progressed in a timely manner
- Maintain and grow strong customer relationships, drive repeat business and increase account value
- Telephone to remain the primary point of contact, achieving a minimum of 2.5 hours of customer talk-time per day in line with team KPIs
- Deliver consistent customer engagement, meeting agreed targets across call activity, touchpoints, and conversion
- Work in close partnership with the Area Sales Manager – building a strong relationship and operating as one team to drive area performance
- Prepare and present quarterly updates alongside the ASM to the wider team
- Use all available data and reporting to keep customers up to date on product ranges, new launches, and opportunities to upsell
- Provide cover across additional sales areas when required to support during annual leave, sickness, or recruitment gaps
- Work with the Sales Office Manager to provide pricing support, securing business at a competitive level while clearly communicating the added value Deanta offers (team support, fleet, and service levels)
- Work closely with the Customer Service team to resolve customer issues, following company SOPs and protecting margin and brand reputation
- Manage and prioritise top quotes, ensuring outcomes are accurately captured within the CRM system
- Maintain high standards of CRM usage, ensuring all customer interactions, opportunities, and updates are recorded correctly
- Support onboarding of new customers, including system setup, pricing agreements, and completion of terms and conditions
- Be prepared for regular 1:1 reviews to discuss progress against area targets and agreed KPIs
Skills and experience:
- Proven inside sales experience within a fast-pace environment
- Track record of over-achieving KPI’s
- Strong phone presence and experience of busy phone lines
- Resilient when working under pressure
- Proficient with corporate productivity
- Experience working with CRM
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong listening and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
