Our pub is seeking an experienced chef to work within a team producing delicious home cooked traditional food.The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing daily specials, completing daily/weekly food hygiene records, ordering food and supplies. The Role
· To prepare and cook food as required
· Working on one of our food stations – Grill / Fryers / Ovens / Pass / Desserts / Pizzas
· Opening and Closing the Kitchen
· To monitor the requisition of stocks as required.
· Liaise with the Food and Beverage Director’s on stock holding
· To ensure that the standard of cooking, presentation
· To direct and maintain hygiene standards to meet the Company Food Safety/ cook chill requirements, including the administration.
· To make proposals to the Food and Beverage Director’s regarding menu planning
· To manage a budget for all resources within area of responsibility and to monitor and maintain effective control.
The Candidate
The successful candidate should:
· Have Cooking and Kitchen experience.
· Have excellent communication skills.
· Have the ability to work under pressure with good decision-making skills.
· Driving License preferable due to location
· Be flexible.
