Join Two Growing Businesses Where Quality Matters
Abtech Safety designs and manufactures safety and rescue equipment used by professionals worldwide. Outreach Rescue delivers specialist training to emergency services and industrial clients across the UK.
We're looking for a practical, organised, and proactive Quality & Compliance Coordinator to support quality and compliance activities across both businesses.
This is a hands-on role within a small, growing team. We're not looking for someone who wants to sit behind a desk writing procedures all day, nor someone who arrives wanting to change everything immediately. We are looking for someone who enjoys understanding how a business operates, building strong working relationships, and helping teams maintain high standards through practical, proportionate systems and processes.
If you enjoy variety, attention to detail, and making a genuine difference, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
You will support and maintain our ISO 9001 Quality Management System while working closely with colleagues across manufacturing, training, sales, purchasing, and management teams.
Your responsibilities will include:
✔ Maintaining and improving our ISO 9001 Quality Management System
✔ Conducting internal audits and supporting external certification audits
✔ Managing corrective actions, non-conformances, and continuous improvement activities
✔ Producing and maintaining technical files and product documentation
✔ Inspecting incoming goods and supporting supplier quality activities
✔ Assisting with supplier audits and supplier performance monitoring
✔ Ensuring training and operational processes are accurately documented
✔ Supporting accreditation requirements across Outreach Rescue training programmes
✔ Delivering quality and compliance training where required
✔ Working with teams to identify practical improvements to systems and processes
✔ Supporting management with quality reporting and compliance activities
What Success Looks Like
In this role, success comes from understanding how the business works, building trust with colleagues, and helping teams achieve compliance in a practical and supportive way.
The ideal candidate will:
✔ Be highly organised and detail orientated
✔ Enjoy working with people across different departments
✔ Be comfortable challenging processes constructively when required
✔ Take time to understand existing systems before recommending changes
✔ Be self-motivated and able to manage a varied workload
✔ Have strong written and verbal communication skills
✔ Be confident using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams

Experience in one or more of the following areas would be beneficial:
- Quality Systems

- Compliance Coordination
- Quality Assurance
