We are currently looking for two full time enthusiastic, highly motivated and fully committed Health Care Assistants to join our friendly team on the busy inpatient ward (Oak Ward) at Liskeard Community Hospital.
Under the supervision of a registered nurse you will contribute to the optimum delivery of patient care by assisting all clinical staff to deliver care in a manner sensitive to the individual client’s needs and wishes, whilst acknowledging and respecting their rights and beliefs at all times.
You must possess excellent communication skills, be a team player and have a genuine interest in the care of elderly patients.
The shifts are day duties from 07:30 – 20:00, Night shifts are 19:30 – 08:00. These shifts are on a rotational basis to support 24‑hour nursing care, 7 days per week.
