Deputy Manager (Job Share) & Early Years Educator at Jigsaw Pre-School
Hours: 3 days per week as Job Share Deputy Manager, plus 1 additional day per week as an Early Years Educator.

From early - mid January 2027 Jigsaw Pre-School is looking for an enthusiastic, caring and motivated individual to join our friendly team as a Job Share Deputy Manager for three days each week, with an additional day working as an Early Years Educator.
About the Role
As our Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Manager and fellow Deputy to:
- Support the day-to-day leadership and organisation of the pre-school.
- Lead and inspire a dedicated team of practitioners.
- Promote high-quality teaching, learning and care.
- Help ensure the setting continues to meet the EYFS and safeguarding requirements.
- Build positive relationships with children, families and outside professionals.
- Support staff development and contribute to maintaining outstanding practice.
Both roles require the successful candidate to work directly with our children, creating engaging learning experiences through play and helping every child to thrive whilst being a key person for a group of children.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Holds a relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years .
- Ideally has previous leadership / senior practitioner experience within an Early Years setting although this role would also suit someone who looking to progress from their current role - training will be given.
- Has a thorough knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding and child development.
- Is organised, approachable and a confident communicator.
- Has a genuine passion for supporting children, families and colleagues.

Rates of pay will be as follows:
Deputy manager £14.15 per hour (Tues, Wed and Thurs 8.45am-3.30pm)
Early years educator £13.43 per hour (Mon 8.45am-3.30pm)
