You will ensure the safety of passengers by safely maintaining a portfolio of lifts and escalator units.<br /><br /><b>On a typical day you will:</b></p><ul><li><p>Perform routine service checks on a number of units across the site, recording and escalating your findings to the field manager.</p></li><li><p>Be the face of the business, often providing updates to clients around work carried out.</p></li><li><p>React to sudden breakdowns, working with both passengers and the client to provide a technical solution to breakdown issues.</p></li><li><p>Perform minor repairs.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>What’s In it For Me;</b></p><ul><li><p>The opportunity to work on site with some of our key clients.</p></li><li><p>Working with and on market leading tech.</p></li><li><p>Highly competitive salary along with over time.<br /> </p></li></ul><p><br /><b>What you will need to be successful.</b></p><ul><li><p>Hold an NVQ level 3 in lift service, maintenance, or repair.</p></li><li><p>Hold a drivers license.</p></li><li><p>You have at least 24 months of experience in the elevator sector.</p></li><li><p>You have good skills in electricity and electrical engineering</p></li><li><p>You are a committed professional, with safety as your priority</p></li><li><p>You are comfortable communicating to others</p></li><li><p>You are curious, adaptable, and you know how to work alone or in a team</p></li><li><p>You are comfortable using electronic and digital tools.</p></li></ul><p><br />We will train you intensively in the areas of technology, processes & soft skills and you can exchange ideas with experienced colleagues at any time.</p><p>If you live in a city, chances are we will give you a lift or play a role in keeping you moving every day. </p><p></p><p>Otis is the world’s leading elevator and escalator manufacturing, installation, and service company.
