Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial premises. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with prior janitorial experience or those eager to develop their skills in commercial cleaning.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of offices, corridors, restrooms, and communal areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and products
Ensure all surfaces are sanitised and kept free from dust, dirt, and stains
Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste responsibly in designated areas
Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed
Maintain cleaning schedules and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
Follow health and safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Use specialised cleaning techniques for sensitive areas or equipment when required

Qualifications

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
Ability to work independently and efficiently within allocated timeframes
Good organisational skills and reliability
Physical fitness to perform cleaning duties which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
A proactive approach to health and safety regulations
