Overview

We are seeking a skilled Production Welder to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality welding operations, primarily using MIG welding techniques, to fabricate and assemble metal components. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical background and experience in sheet metal fabrication. The position is paid and suitable for those looking to develop their skills within a dynamic industrial environment.

Responsibilities

Execute MIG welding on various metal components with material thickness ranging from 3mm to 20mm, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications.
Fabricate, assemble, and repair parts using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
Work with sheet metal and other materials to produce high-quality welded products.
Operate fabrication machinery and assist in the assembly of metal structures or components.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following health and safety protocols.
Inspect completed welds for quality, consistency, and compliance with technical standards.
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.

Skills

Proficiency in MIG welding, with demonstrated experience in welding techniques.
Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication processes.
Experience working with sheet metal and performing basic assembly tasks.
Mechanical knowledge relevant to manufacturing processes and equipment maintenance.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication work.
Familiarity with safety procedures in an industrial setting.
