Full job description

P&L Recruitment are delighted to be working on an exclusive basis with a growing Accountancy Firm based in South Lanarkshire, to recruit a Bookkeeper on a part-time permanent basis. This is a forward-thinking dynamic business. The successful candidate will have at least 3 years experience working within an Accountancy Practice. This is a varied role which can offer progression in a small friendly team. Hybrid working can also be offered.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Managing own set of clients in preparing working papers, financial statements
Onboarding clients
Bookkeeping duties
Preparing monthly/quarterly management accounts.
Preparing quarterly VAT returns
Using a wide range of software such as Xero, Sage, Quickbooks, Taxcalc and Engager
Assisting the Accountant

Requirements:

Previous bookkeeping experience
Proficient in software such as Sage, Xero and QuickBooks
Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
High levels of attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

My client offers a salary of 33-38K (depending on experience) PRO RATA for part-time plus benefits as well as being part of a great team environment!
