Collection and Delivery Driver

Location: Crewe, Chesire and surrounding areas
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Function: Driving
Vacancy Type: Permanent
Working Hours: 55 Hours per Week
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (variable start times between 6am–10am, approx. 11-hour shifts)
Salary: £41,470 per annum (£14.50 per hour) + Weekly Performance Bonus of up to £100 (£5,200 p/a)+ Drop Rate bonus

Job Description

As a Collection and Delivery Driver for Nella Cutlery Services, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our customers receive a reliable, friendly, and professional service. You’ll be responsible for the timely collection and delivery of goods while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and customer care.

Your responsibilities will include:

Collecting and delivering customer orders safely and efficiently.
Checking for Cash on Delivery orders and ensuring all monies are collected.
Verifying Charge Deliveries and obtaining all required customer signatures.
Completing delivery paperwork accurately and submitting it in a timely, professional manner.
Liaising with senior managers and depot teams to ensure smooth daily operations and report any delivery/customer service issues.
Projecting a positive and professional company image at all times, both internally and externally.
Conducting daily vehicle checks and maintaining a clean, roadworthy van.
Adhering to all traffic laws, company procedures, and health & safety guidelines.
Wearing company uniform at all times and personal protective equipment (PPE)

This role requires a strong commitment to service, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications / Requirements

To be considered for the role, you must have:

A full UK driving licence.
At least 24 months of regular driving experience.

Have good communication and time management skills.
Are comfortable handling paperwork and basic digital tools.
