Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Baby Room Practitioner to join our Baby room team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for babies and young children and have a genuine passion for working with babies and young children. The Baby Room Practitioner will play a vital role in supporting children's development and ensuring their well-being in our childcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily care and supervision of babies within the baby room, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote all areas of child development.
- Engage with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and teamwork.
- Manage the organisation of the baby room environment to ensure it is clean, safe, and stimulating for babies and young children.
- Lead by example in adhering to childcare policies, health & safety regulations, and safeguarding procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience working in a baby room within a childcare setting.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in childcare.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining a caring approach towards babies and young children.
- Must be flexible to work across all age ranges as required.
- Full & Relevant Level 3 childcare qualification is essential.
- Full time positions only.
