Care Assistant (Part-Time – Up to 20 Hours per Week)

Location: Maesbrook Care Home, Shrewsbury
Hours: Up to 20 hours per week
Shift Patterns: Flexible days, nights and weekends
Pay: Competitive hourly rate (dependent on experience)

Maesbrook Care Home is looking for caring, compassionate and reliable Care Assistants to join our dedicated team on a part-time basis for up to 20 hours per week.

About the Role

As a Care Assistant, you will:

Deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
Support residents with personal care while promoting dignity, choice and independence.
Assist with mobility, nutrition, hydration and daily living activities.
Observe and report changes in residents' health and wellbeing.
Complete care documentation accurately and work closely with nurses, senior carers and the wider care team.

Have previous experience working in a UK care home, nursing home or healthcare setting.
Are caring, compassionate and committed to delivering exceptional care.
Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Are reliable, professional and flexible.

Already Working in Care?

We particularly welcome applications from experienced Care Assistants who are looking for additional hours, including those currently employed by another UK care provider who are legally entitled to undertake supplementary employment of up to 20 hours per week in accordance with UK immigration rules.

Applicants must already have the legal right to work in the UK.
