Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our growing production unit team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a keen interest in creating delicious baked goods. As a Baker, you will be responsible for producing a variety of sourdough breads and pastries using regenerative and organic flour and cultured butter, while adhering to food safety standards and maintaining a clean kitchen environment. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen setting and has a flair for creativity in baking.

Responsibilities

Prepare and bake a wide range of products including sourdough breads, pastries
Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
Monitor the baking process to ensure products are cooked to perfection.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
Assist with inventory management by tracking ingredient supplies and placing orders as needed.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to create new recipes and improve existing ones.
Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food production techniques.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Baker or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or bakery environment.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, baking methods, and kitchen equipment.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
A creative mindset with an eye for detail in presentation.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
A passion for cooking and baking, with a willingness to learn new skills within the culinary field.
