Job Title: Glazier
Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and install glass and mirrors according to specifications
- Remove old or broken glass and prepare surfaces for installation
- Install glass in windows, skylights, doors, and other structures
- Seal joints and edges of glass with putty, rubber gaskets, or other sealants
- Install weatherstripping or other materials to insulate glass
- Repair or replace damaged glass or frames as needed
- Follow safety procedures and use appropriate tools and equipment
-Measure & install glass splashbacks, mirrors & balustrades
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a glazier or similar role
- Strong knowledge of different types of glass and their applications
- Proficient in measuring, cutting, and installing glass accurately
- Familiarity with various glazing techniques and materials
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical drawings
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Physical stamina to lift heavy glass panels and work on ladders or scaffolding
- Attention to detail and precision in workmanship
Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required for this position.
- CSCS, IPFA, PASMA Certification preferred but not compulsory.
