The Hotel Cromwell
Up to £28,500 per annum + TRONC up to £2,000 per year

Job Summary

The Hotel Cromwell, located in the heart of Stevenage Old Town, is a busy hotel and popular dining destination. A major part of the hotel operation is our food and beverage offering, renowned for high quality food, warm hospitality, and excellent guest service.

We are looking for a Chef de Partie who is passionate about food, takes pride in consistently delivering high standards, and enjoys working as part of a professional kitchen team. Someone who is organised, reliable, and thrives in a busy kitchen environment.

What you will be doing:

You will be responsible for running your section within the kitchen, preparing and presenting high quality dishes, maintaining excellent food hygiene and safety standards, and supporting the wider kitchen team during service. You will assist with stock rotation, food preparation, and ensuring dishes are delivered consistently to specification. You will also help support and develop junior team members while contributing to a positive and professional kitchen culture.

What you will bring to the team:

You will have previous experience working within a professional kitchen at Commis Chef or Chef de Partie level. You will have a passion for fresh food, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work calmly under pressure during busy services. A positive attitude, strong teamwork, and a genuine love for hospitality are essential.
