Gymnastics Coach - Nile Wilson Gymnastics London

Job Title: Coach - Level 1 (British Gymnastics Qualified)

Reports To: Head Coach / Lead Coach

Location: Locations / schools across North London

Level/Salary Range: From £18.00 - £25.00 depending on age and qualification

Position Type: Part Time, Variable Hours Available - Monday to Friday (after school club, typically 3-6pm) and Weekends. Please contact us for exact hours.

Job Description

Reporting to the Lead Coach and working alongside the London Team you will be responsible for coaching groups across our gym timetable of Recreational and Squad development sessions. This will include general coaching, planning of sessions, supporting the gymnasts through competitions where required, monitoring progress & providing feedback. Training will be given for all of our systems as well as for our programmes. You will be capable of operating in line with our standards and procedures while delivering a first class gymnastics experience.

Person Specification

We are looking for confident welcoming BG L1 coaches with excellent time management skills, positive manner and an ambition to change the game. As we constantly strive to improve, you will welcome feedback as part of your development regardless of experience. Self driven you will enjoy working as part of a busy team but will also be able to manage your own work and be ultimately responsible for your gymnasts and coaching groups in regards to their development and safety. You will have experience of direct customer communication and managing expectations. Planning & Delivery of sessions

Representing Nile Wilson Gymnastics in a way that meets our culture and expectations

Role and Responsibilities

Providing an engaging, fun and developmentally focussed programme
Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with gymnasts, parents and fellow coaches
Attend Competitions where necessary
General Housekeeping Duties
Engage in your own personal development
