Due to continued growth, we're looking for a motivated and reliable CNC Waterjet Operator to join our production team. Whether you already have experience operating CNC profiling machinery or you're keen to learn a new trade, we'd like to hear from you. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
The Role
As a CNC Waterjet Operator, you'll play an important role in our manufacturing process, ensuring customer orders are produced accurately, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Working as part of our experienced production team, you'll operate our CNC waterjet cutting machinery, carry out quality inspections and help ensure production runs safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
· Set up and operate CNC waterjet cutting machines.
· Select the correct materials for each production job.
· Load and unload materials safely using appropriate handling equipment.
· Load and run CNC programs.
· Carry out routine quality inspections to ensure components meet specification.
· Monitor machine performance and report any issues.
· Keep work areas clean, organised and compliant with health and safety procedures.
· Work closely with colleagues to ensure production schedules are achieved.
What We're Looking For
· Previous experience operating CNC profiling, laser, plasma or waterjet machinery (preferred but not essential).
· Good computer literacy and confidence using machine software.
· Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.
· A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
· The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
· Good time management and reliability.
Desirable
· Forklift Truck Licence.
· Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
· Knowledge of engineering drawings (beneficial but not essential).
Full Training Provided
Don't have experience with waterjet cutting? That's not a problem.
We're looking for someone with the right attitude and willingness to learn. Full training will be provided by our experienced team, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in engineering.
Working Hours
Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Friday: 8:00am – 2:30pm
