Curriculum Manager: Creative and Service Industries Faculty
- Salary - £45,858 per annum
- Contract - Permanent/Full Time
- Hours 37hrs hours per week – 08:30-16:30 (Term Time Only, plus 10 days)
- DBS requirement - Enhanced and Barred

Curriculum areas currently covered by this role but are subject to review each academic year:
This role currently oversees the following curriculum areas: Business, Hair & Beauty, Motor Vehicle, Media, Sport, Travel and Tourism and Uniformed Public Services.
You don't need experience across every curriculum area—we're looking for someone with strong leadership skills and a passion for high-quality education. However, we would be particularly interested in hearing from candidates with experience in Business.

Duties include (but are not limited to):
- Lead and manage Curriculum Area to achieve outstanding education outcomes for young people and adults.
- Lead and performance manage a professional team of staff to deliver the aims of the Nacro Education, Key Performance Indicators, and to ensure educational outcomes and progression of all students is at the centre of delivery.
- Develop and provide an exceptional student experience and empower and motivate students to Identify and achieve desired outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with schools, employers, partners and any other stakeholder as required to secure recruitment of students. This includes maintaining professional relationships and appropriate confidentiality of information.
- Manage and lead inputting of data in line with Nacro guidance and lead the use and analysis of data to inform and guide interventions and address areas of improvement
- Provide development and support to your direct reports to ensure their effectiveness and wellbeing.
- Take responsibility for all aspects of people management including managing the recruitment, attendance, conduct and performance of direct reports using the appropriate policies and procedures.
Essential Requirements
- Must have some managerial experience - deputy / course / curriculum level.
- Must have been a teacher.
- Ideally want experience in one of the listed curriculum areas.
Qualifications
- English & Maths GCSE grade C/4 or equivalent
- Level 5 DIT or equivalent / higher
- Must follow internal development programme for managers through to Level 3 Coaching and mentoring.
