About Us
Would you like to be part of a vibrant, high-energy team where your contribution is vital to our collective success? We are a family-run business that is currently experiencing a period of exciting commercial growth. We don’t just “install fences” – we solve complex security and boundary challenges for major commercial projects across the UK.
We provide a supportive, “big family” environment where we lean on each other’s expertise to get the job done right. If you are someone who thrives on problem-solving, enjoys the hum of a busy site, and wants to grow alongside a company that truly values its people, you’ll fit right in.
As a business founded over 60 years ago, New Forest Fencing and Gates has a rich heritage of quality. Today, we are evolving into a major player across the UK and South of England, and we need experienced leaders who are as excited about our future as we are.
The Role
As a Lead Commercial Fencer, you are at the heart of our expansion. You will head up a specialist on-site team, taking ownership of large-scale commercial installs and ensuring we remain the go-to choice for high-security solutions.

- On-Site Problem Solving: Navigate the unique challenges of commercial sites, from ground conditions to layout adjustments, ensuring the project keeps moving.
- Team Captaincy: Lead a high-energy team by example, fostering a supportive atmosphere while maintaining top-tier productivity.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the professional link between our office, the site foremen, and the client, ensuring clear communication throughout the build.
- Safety & Standards: Maintain a gold-standard approach to H&S and quality control.
This is a full time role from 8-5 Monday – Friday.
What you’ll Bring:
We’re looking for a proactive professional who is ready to step up and lead from the front.
- Commercial Expertise: Proven experience in heavy-duty commercial fencing is an essential requirement. Please do not apply if this is not you.
- Leadership Presence: Experience managing crews and the confidence to liaise with site managers on busy developments.
- Energy & Ambition: A positive, high-energy attitude and a desire to contribute to a growing business.
- Mobility: A full UK Driver’s License is essential.
