Junior Content Shooter (Filming & Photography)
Location: Stockport & Oldham (on-site) · Hours: 6–20 per week · Job Type: Part-time
About the Role
We're looking for a confident, trend-aware content shooter to capture high-quality food content for our social media platforms. This is a hands-on, on-site filming and photography role — you'll be behind the camera, not behind the editing screen.
Your job is to shoot. All editing, post-production, and content creation is handled by our off-site designer. You'll capture the raw footage and photos to a high standard, then hand it over for them to turn into finished posts. That means your camera work needs to be strong enough to give the editor great material to work with every single time.
You'll be shooting for four brands, each with its own identity, tone, and audience:
- LAPDFOOD
- The Bloc
- WOW Shakes & Cakes
- Dunked Food
Attention to detail and adaptability across all four are essential.
What You'll Be Doing
- Filming and photographing food content using your own phone/equipment to a high standard
- Capturing short-form footage for TikTok, Instagram Reels & Stories
- Shooting specific content on request — product shots, promos, launches, behind-the-scenes
- Working across four different brands, each with unique branding
- Liaising closely with our off-site designer, who handles all editing and content creation
- Sending raw footage and photos over for editing
- Staying on top of current trends, sounds and formats — and being ready to shoot them immediately while they're still relevant
What We're Looking For (Please Read Carefully)
This is a shooting role for someone who already knows what they're doing. We're not looking to train someone from scratch — we need proven camera skills from day one.
- A strong portfolio is required — you must be able to show us video and photography work you've personally shot. Applications without a portfolio or links to your work will not be considered.
- Genuinely skilled at filming and photographing food and behind-the-scenes content — this is the core of the role
- Confident using TikTok & Instagram, with a real feel for what performs
- Plugged into current trends and able to jump on them the moment they break — speed matters
- Able to work independently and manage your own time
- Own smartphone capable of filming high-quality video
- Reliable and able to travel to Stockport or Oldham
- Creative, proactive and self-motivated
