John N Dunn Group is a long-established, family-owned plumbing and heating contractor delivering high-quality installations for leading national housebuilders across the UK. We are known for our reliability, strong site teams, and long-term client partnerships.
As part of our continued growth and long-standing commitment to developing future talent, we are looking to recruit a Year 2/3 Plumbing Apprentice to join our team in the Teesside area.
We currently employ circa 30 apprentices across the business and pride ourselves on providing a structured, supportive, and hands-on learning environment.
The Role
Working alongside experienced engineers and site teams, you will continue developing your practical skills across live new build housing sites.
You will gain experience in:
- First and second fix plumbing on new build properties
- Installation of domestic plumbing and heating systems
- Working to drawings and site specifications
- Maintaining safe and organised working practices on site
- Supporting qualified engineers on a range of tasks
This role offers excellent exposure to a wide scope of works, ensuring you can confidently complete your apprenticeship.
About You
We are looking for someone who is motivated, reliable, and keen to build a long-term career in plumbing and heating.
Essential:
- Currently in Year 2 or 3 of a Plumbing Apprenticeship
- Basic site experience within plumbing (new build desirable)
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Good timekeeping and a professional attitude
Desirable:
- Interest in progressing into gas qualifications
- Experience working on new build housing sites
- Driving license and access to vehicle
