DLI Engineering are looking to recruit an experienced PUMA CNC Turner to join their Team of Precision Engineers in Trimdon, Co Durham manufacturing parts for the Oil, Gas & Aerospace Industries. We have invested in New Machinery.
As part of a successful team this role requires candidates with experience of:
- Programming, setting and operating Puma 400 and 600 machines for one off components and small batch runs.
- Machine a variety of exotic materials including Inconel, Super Duplex, Titanium etc.
- Experience machining large components supplied to the Oil & Gas and Aerospace Industry standards.
- Are a timed served Engineer
It is essential that applicants have experience of:
- Operating Large CNC Lathes
- Programming using Fanuc conversation
- Turning metals to tight tolerances
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
As most of the work is bespoke and a high percentage one offs and small batch runs, this is an interesting and varied position working working on the Night Shift. This position requires a strong Team Player who will share knowledge and experience.
The Night Shift runs Monday to Thursday with an opportunity of overtime as required.
