Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team. This role involves assisting with various construction, landscaping, and maintenance tasks to support ongoing projects. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive attitude, physical stamina, and a willingness to learn new skills. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in horticulture, gardening, and construction work to gain valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Assisting with landscape maintenance, including planting, pruning, and general garden care
Operating hand tools, power tools, and gardening equipment safely and efficiently
Supporting excavation activities using excavators and other machinery as required
Installing and maintaining irrigation systems to ensure proper water distribution
Performing general construction tasks such as digging, lifting, and moving materials
Conducting routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal functionality
Assisting with site preparation, clean-up, and organisation of materials on-site
Supporting team members in completing projects within specified deadlines

Skills

Experience or knowledge in landscape maintenance, gardening or horticulture is desirable
Mechanical knowledge related to the operation and maintenance of tools and machinery
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and gardening equipment such as excavators and irrigation systems
Construction experience or familiarity with basic building practices is advantageous
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy objects and working outdoors in various weather conditions
Strong organisational skills with an eye for safety and detail
Good teamwork ethic with effective communication skills
Prior experience working with mechanical or horticultural equipment is a plus

This role is suitable for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills within construction, landscaping, or maintenance sectors. All positions are paid accordingly.

Pay: £12.21-£21.61 per hour
