Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Fencer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of fencing across diverse sites. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in construction or related trades to utilise their expertise in a dynamic environment. The position is paid and suitable for those eager to contribute to high-quality fencing projects while adhering to safety standards and project specifications.

Responsibilities

Measure and mark fencing lines accurately according to project plans
Install different types of fencing including wooden, metal, or wire mesh fences
Use hand tools and power tools such as drills, saws, and post drivers to assemble and secure fencing materials
Ensure fences are level, secure, and meet client specifications
Perform repairs or modifications on existing fences as required
Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently within deadlines

Experience

Proven experience in fencing
Familiarity with the use of hand tools and power tools essential for fencing installation
Ability to read technical drawings and interpret project plans accurately
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and safety compliance

This role is ideal for individuals who are organised, physically fit, and possess a keen eye for detail. A background in various construction trades will be considered an asset, contributing to the successful completion of fencing projects across multiple sites.

Pay: From £36,400.00 per year
