Due to increased sales and service Signature motorhomes Ltd has a job vacancy for a Trainee Mechanic with mechanical experience .
Role Summary
We are looking for a practical, hands-on, and eager-to-learn individual to join our busy workshop . Working alongside our experienced engineers, you will train in all aspects of vehicle maintenance, servicing, and repairs.
What You Will Learn
Experience in the motor or leisure industry will be an advantage Your training will cover:
- For Motorhomes: Habitation checks, gas and 12v/240v electrical systems, plumbing, wood work and accessory fitting (e.g., solar panels, Inverters ).
- For Mechanics: Routine servicing, fault diagnosis, MOT prep, and component replacement.
- Career Growth: Opportunities to work towards formal industry-standard qualifications.
About You
To be considered for this role, you should possess:
- A practical mindset and an aptitude for using hand tools.
- A genuine interest in mechanics, cars and motorhomes.
- A full UK Driving Licence (preferred).
- A punctual, honest, and conscientious attitude.
- Level 3 NVQ motor mechanics or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of 12v / 240v systems
