We are looking for a fun, outgoing confident Playworker to join our Happy Hours team at Happy Hours before and after school club.
We have the following positions available:
* Both before and afterschool playworker.
* Before school Playworker between 7.30am-9am
* Afterschool Playworker between 3:00pm-6pm
Monday - Friday term time
This roles requires a enhanced DBS check
All additional training in first aid, safeguarding and short courses will be provided.
Playworker role would be to:
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime activities
- Create a safe and inclusive environment for children to play and learn
- Plan and organize age-appropriate games, crafts, and recreational activities
- Assist with breakfast/snack time
- Monitor and address any behaviour issues or conflicts that may arise
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of play areas and equipment
- Communicate with parents or guardians.
- Support other staff within the team.
Level 2/3 in childcare would be relevant, all applicant's will be considered.
Pay: £6.40-£11.74 per hour
