Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter and Decorator to join our team. labour only for HMO and flat conversions, ensuring high standards of quality and craftsmanship. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently within a construction environment. A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel between sites. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about decorating and maintaining the aesthetic appeal of various properties.

Responsibilities

Preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers to ensure optimal adhesion of paints or wallpapers
Applying paints, varnishes, stains, or wallpapers using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment with precision and care
Protecting surrounding areas by covering floors, furniture, and fixtures during work
Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations and industry standards
Communicating effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress and requirements
Maintaining tools and equipment in good condition for optimal performance
Managing time efficiently to complete projects within designated deadlines

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction painting and decorating or related roles
Strong communication skills in English to liaise effectively with clients and team members
Valid driving licence is advantageous for site travel purposes
Good understanding of colour matching, surface preparation, and finishing techniques
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality results
Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to construction sites
