Full job description

We are looking to appoint a Laser Operator at our Head Quarters in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. You will work as part of our busy production team and be responsible for the operating of our laser to produce high quality components.

Duties will include:

Operate laser cutting machine to cut parts according to specifications.
Set up and adjust laser cutting parameters for different materials and thicknesses.
Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
Maintain a high level of housekeeping.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production flow.
Loading and unloading the machine.
Achieve a clean and burr-free cut.
Keeping material stocks at agreed levels at all times to ensure the machine is always running, thereby eliminating downtime.
Assisting in other areas where required.

The above positions will be rewarded with a permanent contract, progressive rates of pay, 32 days paid holidays per year plus loyalty days (up to 34 days), auto-enrolment into our pension scheme which includes 5% employer contributions and employee life insurance.

Working 39 hours, Monday to Friday on a rotating shift pattern
