Mia Direct Ltd is expanding its telecommunications delivery teams and is recruiting experienced Cablers and Fibre Splicers for long-term, ongoing works across the Midlands.
We are looking for experienced telecoms professionals who can hit the ground running and deliver work safely, efficiently and to the standards expected across modern UK telecommunications infrastructure.
Current Vacancies
Telecoms Cablers
We are looking for experienced cablers who are fully competent across:
- Underground (UG) cabling
- Overhead (OH) cabling
- Fibre and telecoms cable installation
- Duct, chamber and overhead network environments
- Associated network preparation and delivery activities
Cablers must hold all relevant and in-date accreditations required to work on PIA infrastructure.
Fibre Splicers
We are looking for experienced fibre engineers capable of completing:
- Fibre optic splicing
- Core fibre jointing
- Fibre preparation and joint building
- OTDR and ILM testing
- Fault identification
- Testing and commissioning
- Fibre network completion and handover activities
Applicants must hold the relevant current qualifications and accreditations required for the works being undertaken.
