About This Role
We're looking for caring and dedicated Healthcare Assistants to support a fun-loving 14-year-old boy with complex care needs at home and during the school day.
He enjoys spending time with animals, getting involved in messy play, and watching his favourite Disney films. When he's feeling well, he loves trips to the cinema and bowling and is happiest when he's out and about with his family.
Your role will involve providing personal care, supporting his daily routines, and assisting with a range of clinical interventions, including respiratory care and seizure management.
You'll play an important role in helping him stay safe, comfortable, and able to enjoy the activities he loves.

Clinical Experience
Previous experience supporting children or young people with complex clinical needs is essential.
The specific clinical competencies required for our client are:
- Epilepsy management and administration of rescue medication
- Respiratory care and oxygen therapy.
Essential Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must:
- Have a minimum of 3 months' paid experience working in a professional care setting within the UK.
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Be committed to delivering safe, compassionate and child-centred care.
- Be willing to complete client-specific, clinical training where required.
- Be comfortable working around pets– Our client has a pet dog in the home.
We do not hold a sponsorship licence and are therefore unable to consider applicants requiring sponsorship.
