Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and supporting the overall operation of the kitchen. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in food preparation and culinary arts to develop their skills within a professional environment. The Chef de Partie will play a vital part in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests, ensuring all food safety and hygiene standards are adhered to.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook dishes according to specified recipes and presentation standards
Oversee specific sections of the kitchen, such as fish, meat, or pastry stations
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness within the kitchen
Assist in training junior kitchen staff and ensuring smooth kitchen operations
Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
Collaborate with the head chef and other team members to create innovative menus
Ensure proper storage of ingredients and minimise waste through efficient utilisation
Support the team during busy periods to maintain quality and service standards

Experience

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene practices
Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable
Familiarity with meal preparation techniques across various cuisines
Experience working in a fast-paced setting with excellent organisational skills
Serving experience is an advantage but not essential; willingness to learn on the job is important

Pay: £31,700.00-£31,800.00 per year
