Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and supporting the overall operation of the kitchen. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook dishes according to specified recipes and presentation standards
- Oversee specific sections of the kitchen, such as fish, meat, or pastry stations
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness within the kitchen
- Assist in training junior kitchen staff and ensuring smooth kitchen operations
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
- Collaborate with the head chef and other team members to create innovative menus
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients and minimise waste through efficient utilisation
- Support the team during busy periods to maintain quality and service standards
Experience
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene practices
- Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques across various cuisines
- Experience working in a fast-paced setting with excellent organisational skills
- Serving experience is an advantage but not essential; willingness to learn on the job is important

Pay: £31,700.00-£31,800.00 per year
