Blackwell Golf Club wish to recruit an enthusiastic Qualified Assistant Greenkeeper to join our experienced team. We are looking to expand our team as we have exciting long-term plans to further develop our excellent course and practice facilities. It is a traditional members club that respects the traditions of the game and is renowned for its hospitality and welcoming environment. It is a top 100 ranked golf course and is consistently regarded as one England’s finest and Worcestershire’s number one. The course is currently going through an exciting Master Plan of works designed by Frank Pont and woodland management plan by John Nicholson.
The successful candidate will have:
- A good working knowledge of all aspects of golf course maintenance
- Be a team player but showing ability to work unsupervised when needed
- Demonstrate a good understanding of health and safety compliance
- Be punctual and have a flexible approach to working hours including weekend
- Mechanical skills
The candidate will possess:
- 2 years+ Greenkeeping experience
- NVQ 2 in Greenkeeping or working towards the qualification
- A keen eye for detail
- An understanding of the game of golf
