Summary
The warehouse Events coordinator manages the inventory, logistics, staff and preparation of materials for events, ensuring items are accurately stored, packed and transported to venues. They bridge the gap between inventory storage and on-stie event execution, coordinating deliveries, team schedules and equipment maintenance. The successful candidate must ensure the team is providing effective support to guarantee all stock is accurate; to keep the smooth flow of production and all orders go out within the allocated timeframe.
Responsibilities
Manging the daily workload to ensure an efficient turnaround on orders,
Tracking, organizing, and maintaining inventory levels for event equipment, props, and materials.
Preparing, packing, and loading/unloading goods securely for transport to and from venues.
Managing staff, time and attendance, holiday cover, assigning tasks and training new staff, Reporting to the management team on turnaround times, order volumes, staffing issues etc.
Problem solving and ensuring production queries are resolved,
Working closely with other department supervisors to ensure efficient output
Point of Contact when dealing with Admin queries from different warehouse departments.
Respond to Suppliers/Reps/contacts via Telephone, Email, Face to face.
Achievement of operational KPIs.
Participate in all job training and coaching.
Always Adhere to Health and Safety regulations.
Ensure good working relations with colleagues.
Ensure that absenteeism and tardiness are kept to a minimum.
Ensure that company polices are adhered to always, this includes Equal Opportunities Policy, Harassment Policy, Health and Safety Policy and Training Policy.
Any other reasonable duties requested.
Essential Criteria:
3 years’ experience of supervisory management.
Customer Service experience in a fast-paced Environment
Experience in preparing, packing and loading/unloading goods securely for transport to and from venues.
Time Management of yourself and others, prepared to work shifts.
Experience of leading and motivating a team
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to listen closely and assimilate information quickly. Able to ask clarifying questions and provide accurate information.
Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills are essential.
Well organised and requires a flexible working schedule, including at times weekends and evenings
Flexible and committed to meeting deadlines
Computer literate (including Microsoft Office applications especially in the use of excel).
Pay: £15.00 per hour
