We are looking for a positive and proactive Wrap Around Playworker to join the team at Manor Primary School. This rewarding role involves supporting our before and after school provision. Your opportunity

We are seeking an adaptable and resourceful individual to help create a fun and caring environment within our school wraparound provision. The successful candidate will have previous experience working with children and be somebody who will engage and inspire the children through extra-curricular activities and learning.

Be able to develop positive relationships with young children
- Have an interest in the play needs of children
- Be able to participate in a variety of activities including arts and crafts, cooking, and other indoor and outdoor games.
- Be proactive, using their own initiative to differentiate activities to ensure full inclusion for all abilities and ages.
- Be able to stay calm and objective when presented with unusual or challenging behaviour and circumstances
- Be enthusiastic and motivated and committed to working as part of a team

The Details
Start Date: September 2026
Salary: GLF Associate 2.1 £23,914 FTE actual: £9,744 (based on 17.5 hours)
Hours: Up to17.5 hrs a week, can be flexible. Clubs run Monday to Friday, breakfast club is 7.30 - 8.40am & afterschool club is 3–6.00pm (38 weeks a year)
