Working within Marketing
As a Senior Marketing Manager at Haymarket, you'll lead strategic, audience-focused marketing campaigns that drive engagement, strengthen brands and support commercial success.
Working across Planning Resource, Partnerships Bulletin, P3 Bulletin, DCP and COMPASS Online, you'll collaborate with editorial, commercial and product teams to deliver impactful marketing that grows audiences and supports the continued success of each brand.
The Role
We are looking for a strategic and commercially minded Senior Marketing Manager to lead the marketing strategy for Haymarket's Built Environment portfolio.

Working across market-leading brands including Planning, Planning Resource, DCP, Partnerships Bulletin, P3 Bulletin and COMPASS Online, you'll drive audience growth, subscription performance and brand engagement in sectors shaping the future of the built environment.
Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will define and deliver the portfolio's marketing strategy, lead high-impact subscription and audience growth campaigns. Working closely with editorial, commercial and product teams, you'll play a key role in delivering commercial success and long-term brand growth.
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Revenue Growth
Develop and deliver the annual marketing strategy for the portfolio, aligning plans with the Marketing Director's vision and ambitious audience and commercial growth targets.
Take ownership of the full subscription customer journey, driving acquisition, lead generation, retention and renewal to maximise customer lifetime value across the portfolio.
Work closely with Sales and Editorial teams to identify and deliver new commercial opportunities, including premium content, bespoke reports, data products and events.
Brand & Market Positioning
Manage the marketing budget for the portfolio, ensuring spend is allocated effectively across channels to maximise ROI and support commercial objectives.
Monitor market trends and customer insights across the built environment sector, using data to inform marketing activity and keep our brands relevant and competitive.
Oversee marketing across the portfolio, ensuring each brand maintains a clear value proposition with messaging tailored to key audiences, including private developers, local authorities and consultants.
Data & Optimisation
Use analytics to monitor marketing funnel performance, providing regular insights and recommendations to optimise conversion, audience growth and market penetration.
Lead a culture of testing and continuous improvement, using techniques such as A/B testing and landing page optimisation to enhance campaign performance and conversion rates.
Skills / Experience / Knowledge / Minimum Criteria:
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Knowledge
Good understanding of B2B marketing, ideally within a subscription or membership-based environment.
Knowledge of customer lifecycle marketing, including acquisition, retention and renewal.
Familiarity with CRM, marketing automation and analytics platforms.
An interest in the built environment, planning, infrastructure or sustainability sectors is desirable.
Skills
Strong strategic marketing skills, with the ability to deliver commercially focused campaigns.
Excellent analytical skills, using data and insight to optimise performance and demonstrate ROI.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
Effective leadership, organisational and project management skills.
Experience
Significant experience in a senior marketing role, ideally within a B2B subscription environment.
Proven experience developing and delivering successful marketing strategies that drive audience growth and commercial performance.
Experience managing marketing budgets and leading cross-functional projects.
Previous experience managing and developing team members.
