Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Removal Porter/Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting items safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will ideally possess a valid driving licence, preferably with experience in commercial driving, and be comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling tasks. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting clients with their removal needs.
Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and personal belongings to designated locations
- Assist clients with loading and unloading items, ensuring secure handling during transit
- Communicate effectively with clients and address any queries or concerns
- Perform heavy lifting tasks as required
Experience
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving is highly desirable
- Proven ability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Good communication skills for liaising with clients and team members
- Valid driver’s licence suitable for 3.5t vehicles
- Experience in removals is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
This role requires a dedicated individual capable of managing physical demands while maintaining professionalism and excellent customer service standards.
Pay: £115.00-£165.00 per day
