Job Title: Pizzaiolo/Pizza Chef

Location: Stratford upon Avon

Salary: £33,000 per year

Job Type: Full-time

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Neapolitan Pizzaiolo/Pizza Chef to join our team as we face imminent expansion to a fantastic new venue.

As a Pizzaiolo, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of our pizzas from dough preparation to the final product. If you have a deep love for pizza and possess excellent culinary skills, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Dough management: Prepare and manage pizza dough, ensuring its quality.
Line prep: Prepare ingredients and toppings for pizzas, ensuring they are fresh and readily available during peak hours.
Pizza making: Create delicious pizzas, following established recipes and techniques while incorporating your own creativity and expertise.
Oven management: Monitor and maintain the oven.
Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards, maintaining a clean and organised workspace at all times.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of orders.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Pizzaiolo/Pizza Chef, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or pizzeria.
Strong knowledge of dough preparation and pizza making techniques, including stretching, topping, and baking.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent knowledge of pizza ingredients, flavours, and combinations.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
