Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Legal Cashier to join our dynamic legal finance team. In this vital role, you will support the management of financial transactions related to legal operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. Your expertise will help streamline accounts payable processes, maintain precise financial records, and assist with the overall financial health of the legal department. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your accounting skills within a professional and collaborative environment.

Duties

Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors and service providers
Reconcile legal department transactions using accounting software
Maintain detailed records of all financial transactions, invoices, and payments in compliance with company policies
Assist in preparing financial reports and supporting documentation for audits or internal reviews
Support month-end and year-end closing procedures by verifying account balances and resolving discrepancies
Collaborate with legal team members to resolve billing issues or payment queries efficiently

Qualifications

Preferable understanding of accounts payable procedures and financial reconciliation practices, however not essential as training will be provided
Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail
Ability to work independently while maintaining clear communication with team members
Basic knowledge of legal billing processes is a plus but not required
Prior experience in a professional office environment or legal setting is advantageous
Good numerical skills and a high level of accuracy
