We are currently recruiting for a passionate Self-employed Senior Acupuncturist to join a busy Private Chinese Medicine and Multi-therapy Clinic in South London. As an Acupuncturist, you will be responsible for providing a high standard of assessment, diagnosis, evaluation, treatment and advice to private/insurance patients. We are an expanding practice formed of acupuncturists, massage therapist, naturopath and growing together as a team.
We offer competitive rate and generous commission scheme. The hourly rate would depend on experience, efficiency and product sales skills.

Your role will include:
- Undertake a comprehensive assessment and formulate a diagnosis of patients who may have complex conditions.
- Use well developed clinical reasoning of the patient's needs and provide clinic treatment.
- To work as an autonomous practitioner taking full responsibility for the management of patients and able to manage own caseload without direct supervision.
- Maintain clear patient documentation, records and accurate statistical information to reflect care provided and to meet professional standards of regulatory body.
- Prepare relevant assessment report and invoices as required.
- Maintain general clinic cleaning and tidiness.
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor's or Equivalent qualification in Acupuncture. Passionate about Chinese medicine and personal health Care*
- You also need to be a member of UK approved Acupuncture association and hold valid professional liability/indemnity insurance (please provide details when applying) *
- Qualified and insured to provide clinical massage to help establishing patient base when starting up
- Excellent communication skills with customer service work experience
- Good interpersonal skills. A passion for delivering 5* services
- Excellent organisational and time management skills to manage a caseload
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, punctual and committed to travel even under challenging public transport conditions
- Fluent in speaking and written English
- Reliable commute on public or own transport method to CR2 0PW including on public transport strike days. Clinic is within walking distance to two mainline train stations and close to bus stops. Off road parking is available within walking distance from the clinic
- Has right to work in the UK
- Can do attitude and flexibility
Desirable
- Ability to convert patients into care (training can be provided on this)
- Ten years and above of clinical experience
- Good working knowledge of Word/Excel/Outlook
- Tuina/Massage work experience
- Qualification to prescribe Chinese Medicine

- Between £20 and £25 per hour depending on experience and ability
