Full job description

Overview

We are looking for a reliable and conscientious cleaner to join our team and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at our community hall.

Responsibilities

Cleaning halls, meeting rooms, kitchen and toilet facilities.
Sweeping, vacuuming and mopping floors.
Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
Dusting and sanitising surfaces.
Floor buffing.
Replenishing cleaning supplies and consumables.
Reporting any maintenance issues or health and safety concerns.
Ensuring the hall is clean, tidy and ready for community activities and events.

Requirements

Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential, training will be provided.
A dependable, punctual and hardworking individual.
Ability to work independently and to a high standard.
Good attention to detail.
Flexibility to work weekends and cover holidays when needed.
A positive attitude and commitment to maintaining a welcoming community space.
