What You'll Be Doing
This is a commercially focused role where you'll work closely with the Managing Director to help grow Aquatech Civils, win new business and deliver an excellent customer experience. While you'll support the day-to-day running of projects, your primary focus will be developing opportunities and building strong customer relationships.
Sales & Business Development
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking and relationship building.
- Managing enquiries from initial contact through to quotation and conversion.
- Preparing, presenting and following up customer quotations.
- Visiting customer sites to understand project requirements and prepare tailored quotations (training provided where required).
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, contractors, consultants and suppliers.
- Working with the Managing Director to develop sales strategies, generate new leads and grow existing accounts.
- Maintaining an active sales pipeline and ensuring our CRM system is kept up to date.
- Supporting marketing and business development initiatives, including LinkedIn, customer communications and networking opportunities.
Commercial & Operational Support
- Working closely with the operations team to ensure successful delivery of projects from order through to completion.
- Coordinating labour, materials, suppliers and logistics where required.
- Liaising with customers throughout projects to maintain excellent service and identify opportunities for repeat business.
- Supporting continuous improvements across the business and contributing ideas that help drive growth.
Business Support
- Producing sales and business performance reports.
- Assisting with commercial administration, including purchase orders, invoicing and project documentation.
- Supporting the wider business with general administrative duties where required.
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- Proven sales and business development experience (essential).
- Experience within construction, civil engineering or a related industry IS ESSENTIAL.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach and the ability to work independently.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- A positive, can-do attitude and the confidence to work in a fast-moving environment.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites when required.

- A competitive salary of £34,500 plus a performance-related bonus that rewards your contribution to the growth and success of the business. OTE £45,000-£50,000+
