We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Drivers Mate / Installer to join our 7.5T Home Delivery Team. Working alongside an experienced 7.5T Driver, you will help deliver, install, and position household appliances and technology products in customers' homes while providing exceptional customer service.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys physical work, working as part of a team, and making a positive difference for customers every day.
What You'll Be Doing
✅ Assisting the 7.5T Driver with multi-drop deliveries
✅ Loading, unloading, and safely handling large household appliances and technology products
✅ Supporting installations of washing machines, fridge freezers, TVs, and other products
✅ Helping to position products safely in customers' homes
✅ Securing loads and ensuring goods are transported safely
✅ Navigating routes and supporting timely deliveries
✅ Providing excellent customer service and representing the company professionally
✅ Using handling equipment such as sack barrows and lifting aids safely
✅ Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and organisation
✅ Supporting warehouse duties when required
✅ Adhering to all health and safety procedures
What We're Looking ForEssential
✔ Previous experience in delivery, installation, warehouse, removals, or logistics environments
✔ Full UK Driving Licence preferred (maximum 6 penalty points)
✔ Strong work ethic and positive attitude
✔ Excellent communication and customer service skills
✔ Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling
✔ Ability to work effectively as part of a two-person delivery team
✔ Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work
Desirable
✔ Experience delivering and installing household appliances
✔ Experience driving vans or commercial vehicles
✔ Knowledge of safe lifting and handling techniques
