Core Objectives
- Carry out skilled double-glazing work. This will include site preparation, installations, inspections, diagnosing problems, testing, removal, replacement, repair, maintenance of double glazing.
Main Tasks/ Responsibilities
- Selecting correct products for each task
- Removal of existing glass, door and window units and site preparation including cutting and chop outs
- Installations, inspections, diagnosing problems, testing, repair, maintenance, removal, replacement, of double glazing
- Identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair; to ensure compliance with agreed codes, law, working practices and health and safety
- Carry out tasks within agreed time limits
- Ensure compliance to agreed codes, legislation, and procedures including health and safety
- Maintain accurate records/documentation associated with your work
- Report to Line Manager
- Immediately report problems/failures that may impact on the organisation and/or its clients/customers to Line manager
- Meet your targets and contribute to those of the team as a whole
- Contribute towards the smooth running of the team
- Adhere to all organisation policies and procedures
The Installer will:
- Be committed to installing to the highest standard along with providing excellent customer service, be confident and professional with customers.
- Have plenty of experience of installing aluminium/UPVC windows, doors and conservatories, and a commitment to completing high-quality installations.

- Complete both domestic and commercial projects.
Desirable but not always essential:
- DBS checked or willing to undergo check.
- IPAF
- CSCS
- MTC
- Full driving license
- NVQ
