Casual Wedding and Sales Coordinator required!
We are looking for a friendly, confident and enthusiastic person to represent and promote our wedding venue, The Glade.
This varied casual role will involve showcasing the venue to prospective couples, helping turn enquiries into bookings and providing a welcoming, professional presence around wedding dates. You will also help deliver open days and wedding fayres and coordinate venue arrangements before and during wedding ceremonies.
Main responsibilities
- Conducting friendly and informative venue show-rounds
- Promoting The Glade and helping prospective couples visualise their wedding at the venue
- Answering questions about the venue, packages and facilities
- Following up prospective clients after viewings
- Helping organise and host viewing days, open days and wedding fayres
- Liaising with wedding suppliers
- Meeting couples at the venue on the day before their wedding and providing access for setup
- Welcoming couples, guests, suppliers and registrars on the wedding day
- Coordinating the practical arrangements surrounding the ceremony
- Helping ensure the ceremony begins smoothly and on time
- Communicating clearly with the administration, operations and management teams
About you
You will be:
- Warm, personable and confident meeting new people
- Comfortable showcasing and selling the venue
- Organised, reliable and able to work independently
- Calm and professional around weddings
- Confident liaising with couples, suppliers and registrars
- Flexible and available to work weekends and some evenings
Previous experience in weddings, venues, hospitality, customer service or sales would be essential full training will be provided.
Because this is a casual, wedding-led position, hours will vary throughout the year. Weekend availability, particularly on Saturdays, is essential. Hours will vary, estimated at 10 hours a week (during wedding season) and is subject to business needs.
