Refuse and Recycling Loader
Location: Charnwood, LE12 7AH
Job type: Permanent, full-time
Working Hours: 38 hours per week, Tuesday to Friday 6am-4pm, plus occasional weekend work (time and a half on Saturdays and double-time on Sundays), plus double-time and a day off in lieu for working on a bank holiday
Salary: £26,462.27 (£13.36 per hour) + excellent benefits

As a Refuse and Recycling Loader in our team, you'll provide a complete waste and recycling service on behalf of the residents and community in Charnwood. With a professional, dedicated and friendly team of Refuse Collection staff, we ensure that streets, homes and businesses are kept clean, safe and tidy, whilst providing the very best levels of customer service to all members of the community that we serve.
You’ll be entrusted to:

You will set off on a pre-planned route with the driver you are working with collecting waste and recycling from residential homes and commercial properties.

You will be the public face of Serco’s Environmental Services team in the community.
