We are looking for a teacher for:
Andover:
Sundays 9am-12.30pm
This is a term time only role so 39 weeks a year, with no teaching in the school holidays.
No previous teaching or professional swimming experience is required as full training is provided.
Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and friendly person to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and fun environment for children aged 0-4 years, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development alongside learning swimming skills, becoming water confident, and being safe.
You will engage children in various activities that promote learning through play, ensuring that each child is supported at a pace that is right for them.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards, and development stages.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging pool environment where children can explore and learn.
- Observe and assess children's progress alongside our Milestone award programme.
Experience
- No previous teaching or professional swimming experience is required as full training is provided. (although of course, swimming teaching qualifications already achieved would be a bonus!)
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children is desirable.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to educate children using creative teaching methods that engage their interests.
