Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar/Floor Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our bar and floor area. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive hospitality experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves supervising staff, managing food and beverage services, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, and creating an inviting atmosphere for our guests. The successful applicant will play a key role in maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the activities of bar staff, including bartenders and servers.
Oversee food preparation and ensure high standards of culinary presentation and quality.
Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly adhered to across the establishment.
Develop innovative drink menus and promote specials to enhance guest experience.
Maintain a welcoming environment by providing excellent hospitality and service to all guests.
Oversee training programmes, and motivate team members to achieve performance targets.
Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly to uphold the establishment’s reputation.
Collaborate with management to optimise operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with licensing laws related to alcohol service.

Qualifications

Proven supervising experience within a hospitality or restaurant setting.
Strong team management skills with the ability to lead by example.
Experience in restaurant or hotel environments is highly desirable.
Familiarity with food production processes, kitchen operations, and serving procedures.
Previous experience as a manager.
Leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.

Pay: £13.00-£13.50 per hour
