About the role
As a Senior Project Officer, you will play a key role in delivering our development programme, managing housing projects from post-contract stage through to completion, handover and the Defects Liability Period. You will lead project and site progress meetings, monitor quality, compliance, costs and programme performance, and build strong relationships with contractors, consultants and stakeholders.
The Senior Project Officer will undertake site inspections, monitor works on site, identify and resolve quality concerns, and ensure developments meet Welsh Housing Quality Standards (WHQS), Welsh Development Quality Requirements (WDQR) and regulatory requirements. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Project Officer who enjoys balancing technical expertise, project delivery and stakeholder engagement.
About you
To succeed as a Senior Project Officer, you will have project management experience within construction, property development, housing or a related environment. You will be confident managing multiple projects, monitoring costs and risks, and working effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
We are looking for a Senior Project Officer with excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills, alongside experience of undertaking site visits, property inspections and works monitoring. A construction, quantity surveying, building surveying or project management qualification would be advantageous.
